On social media, video footage showed that police officers were dragging protesters from the entrance.
Just Stop Oil tweeted that 22 supporters “rushed to the gates” at 11.15 (11115 GMT)
It said that several of them attempted to climb the gates while others sat on the road to block the entrance. Others gluing to the asphalt, some even gluing their hands together.
Prime Minister Rishi Sungak chaired a weekly meeting with his senior ministers at Number 10. This action was also after BP announced a quarterly profit rise due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Just Stop Oil is also asking him to reverse his government’s policy for granting new oil/gas licenses for exploration in North Sea.

Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp media empire base in London was also attacked by direct action protests.
