He also mentioned Gandhi’s advancements in science, technology, and the strengthening of India’s space and nuclear initiatives.
Rajiv Gandhi’s political journey began in 1984 following the assassination of his mother, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. At 40, he became India’s youngest Prime Minister and led from October 1984 to December 1989. Born on August 20, 1944, his life was tragically cut short on May 21, 1991, by a Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) suicide bomber during an election rally in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu.
