PepsiCo collaborated with Balenciaga creative design Demna on a line bag that resembles Lay’s potato chip packets.
Internet users have taken to heart a bag that looks a bit like Lays potato chips and is made from leather by Balenciaga, the Spanish luxury fashion house.
It may take some time to get used to the cost of the bag.
Page Six reported that Hypebeast reports indicated that the bag would retail for USD 1,800.
It is INR 1,40,000. A line of bags designed by Balenciaga and PepsiCo creative designer Demna resembles Lay’s potato chip packets. The bags were presented at the Paris Fashion Week.
In the USA, the average potato chips packet will cost around USD 4 while in India, it will cost between INR 10 to 60 for a Lays packet.
Lay’s shared the Balenciaga runway looks via its Instagram page on October 3.
Page Six reported that Flamin Hot chips were reportedly out of stock in many stores. The luxury bag also comes without chips.
Balenciaga’s eccentric accessories and quirky designs are well-known around the globe. Kim Kardashian loves the fashion house.
Recently, the company sold the “most costly garbage bag in world” for USD 1,790. This amount would convert to Indian Rupees at the current rate of conversion.
